"RD350" Yamaha -- Large photo print

Click HERE to see it BIG...

"The giant killer" was the RD350's reputation on the street and track in the 1970s. This image study of a tweaked RD makes one want to climb on and hit the track or the perfect canyon road it was made for.

Yamaha's little pocket rocket embarrassed and humiliated bigger 4-cylinder bikes with over twice the size of its 347cc 2-stroke motor.

Lawson on his famous #21 Kawasaki KZ1000 took the crown away from Cooley in 1981. Cooley on his #34 "Pops" Yoshimura Suzuki GS1000 had won the AMA Superbike Championship the two previous years and had also won the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hour endurance race in Japan in 1978 with Mike Baldwin, and again in 1979 with Graeme Crosby. Cooley was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2004.

Collecting Motorsports Art (words from our collectors)

Click to See "Texas Tornado"
Collecting things that truly interest you, is the purest form of creating a personal collection. Surrounding yourself with images and objects that fit your personality is a healthy pastime.

Successful people all collect something of value. Something personal to them. A reason for living beyond their necessities. These objects, on display, become a gauge for their success and ultimately make them more successful in life and their quest for life's enjoyments.

For me, it's motorsports stuff. As much car and motorcycle related art, photos and objects as I can tastefully display in my home, office and garage. To me, art or an interesting photograph should make you want to "be there," make you feel good or bring out a pleasant memory. I have so many great motorsport moments throughout my life and I guess that's why I enjoy being surrounded with it so much.
--Ben Stern

And another customer writes...

... "Texas Tornado" is another one of my favorite art prints of World Superbike champ Colin Edwards power-sliding his Honda RC51 out of a corner. It also spoke to me. It now hangs in my office with my Freddie Spencer and a street scene that I consider the finest piece of motorcycle art ever, "The Pace" on beautiful coated canvas.

People are constantly sticking their heads in my office to see my wall hangings and "The Pace" is by far the crowd favorite.

--Sam Burns

Motorsports Art is a great GIFT idea -- anytime!

We have many customers that have reported giving our giclee art as gifts. They are amazed that the recipient is so appreciative, and  say this is the nicest gift they have EVER received. And, even years later they sometimes call or email to say thanks again.

After all, they see your gift hanging on their wall every day of their life! ... How can they forget?

A touching email from one of our collectors:

"I am really impressed with your whole package ... artwork/framing/packing ... a very good experience... I love the piece I bought "The Pace" framed, actually I bought one for myself, and one for my long time riding buddy.
Your piece was like something plucked from my memory, and I knew my buddy Rick would feel the same way. Rick never expected a present, and when I handed it to him, I told him that it was something he had to have. When he opened it I saw the power of the image on him, he was silent and then teared up. He said it was the best thing he has ever seen ... and said it was an image from his own mind. I have mine above my desk, I can get lost in it. Please keep sending me images of your new works ... Thanks — Scott Mantz, Seattle, WA

"The Pace" as a print has since sold out but we still have a large canvas giclee with a thick gallery wrap ready for a nice wall. Call the Studio if you are interested.
